Here’s a video of a talk I did at the Society of Illustrators at the Museum of American Illustration in New York City in January 2013, titled “Making Apps for Fun and Profit”. I was asked to give this talk a few times last year around the city- it’s a great general overview of how I got into the app business, how apps are created, how the business is managed, and how to get started.
I talk for about 30 minutes about apps, and then the talented Monika Maniecki talks about creating gorgeous paintings on the ipad using ArtRage and does a cool live demo.
